The UPLB Department of Social Forestry and Forest Governance (DSFFG) met today with representatives from the Forest Foundation Philippines (FFP) to discuss collaborative opportunities for the development of a capacity building course on policy advocacy.
The said course is expected to enhance the knowledge and skills of civil society organizations and other audience to engage in legislative lobbying from the barangay to national levels. In support of important forestry and natural resources-related policies, and championing collaborative governance, DSFFG welcomes partnerships in keeping with its tagline to “harmonize people and forests”.
FFP is "a non-profit organization providing grants and technical assistance to individuals and organizations that protect and conserve the forests"
