The Department of Social Forestry and Forest Governance hosted the College of Forestry and Natural Resources Flag Ceremony on Monday, 03 April 2023 in front of Florencio Tamesis Hall, CFNR.

In his message, Dean Marlo Mendoza echoed CFNR's ongoing research and extension collaborations while Dr. Rose Jane Peras, DSFFG chair, highlighted the role of CFNR constituents as stewards of the environment. Dean Mendoza and Dr. Peras also reminded everyone of the essence of the Lenten Season.

Dean Marlo Mendoza and former dean Juan Pulhin, which are both faculty members from DSFFG, led the raising of the flag in what was called "a historic moment".

The CFNR Flag ceremony serves as an opportunity for the different academic and non-academic units of CFNR to announce their respective significant events, programs, and projects.

The program was hosted by For. Justine A. Marasigan and was attended by the Faculty, REPS, and administrative staff of the different CFNR units.
