DSFFG aims to be a dynamic and effective leader in the promotion of social equity, participation, and sustainability in forestry and natural resources.
Other than instruction, the Department of Social Forstry and Forest Governance pursues in earnest four vital Objectives:
- To promote research;
- To develop professional leadership in the promotion of social forestry and forest governance as a strategy to advance sustainable natural resource development;
- To disseminate research results through publications and information exchanges; and
- To conduct national and international training programs and provide technical services relevant to social forestry and forest governance.
